We collect information in two ways: what you provide to us directly, and what is collected automatically.
A. Information You Provide
- Account Identity: When you register, we collect your email address for authentication and the name you provide in the "What's your name?" field.
- Routine Data: We store the content you create to build your schedule, including routine names, descriptions, step names, step descriptions, and completion logs (time completed, steps finished, and notes).
- Essentials & Inventory Data: We store details regarding your routine and "essentials" tracking, including item names, usage frequency, and specific purchase history information you choose to enter (store of purchase, cost, date of purchase, expiration date, amount, and size).
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Device Data: We may collect standard technical information (device model, operating system version) solely to ensure the app functions correctly on your specific device.
3. Storage and Security
We utilize a secure, offline-first architecture.
- Local Storage (WatermelonDB): All your routines, essentials, and logs are stored locally on your device's internal memory. This allows for immediate offline access and performance.
- Cloud Synchronization (Supabase): When an internet connection is available, your local data synchronizes securely with our cloud database. This allows you to restore your data if you lose your device.
- Encryption: Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL).
4. How We Use Your Data
We use your information for the following specific purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve the tracking functionality of the app.
- To synchronize your progress securely across multiple devices.
- To authenticate your identity when you log in.
Note: We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for marketing or advertising purposes.
5. Service Providers
We share data only with the essential infrastructure provider necessary to operate the service:
- Supabase: Used for secure user authentication and cloud database hosting.
6. Your Rights
Regardless of your location, we believe you should have control over your data. You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we fix inaccurate account details (like your email). Note: Most routine and essential tracking data can be edited or corrected by you directly within the app interface.
- Deletion: Request the permanent deletion of your account and data.
To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@truereflection.app. Upon a deletion request, your data will be removed from our active cloud servers immediately and from your local device upon the next sync or app uninstall.
